BuddyPress.org

I am using Buddypress 1.6.4 and WordPress 3.5.1. I seem to have an issue with my “Friends” count. When looking at the tabs of the user the “Friends” tab shows 4 users but when clicking on the tab only 2 friends are there. I have seen this brought up on a few different occasions but none of the fixes I found have taken care of the problem. I have even tried to remove the number count completely but have also not found anything that works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
