@saukgp try http://buddydev.com/buddypress/introducing-buddyblog-allow-users-to-blog-from-their-buddypress-profile/ cool thing is that the posts created by the user will be shown in user’s BP profile page as well.

    Don’t quite understand

i dont think its supported anymore

The plugin author still replies to queries at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-user-frontend up to, well, 30 minutes ago !

    Am glad though that

wp user frontend brought me much closer to what I wanted!

There was another plugin Quick Post Widget which was really superb but unfortunately vulnerabilities were identified and apparently it was withdrawn from the wordpress repository and to-date has not been updated. I presume a good coder (not me) could fork this so that the vulnerabilities were eliminated!

@mercime Thank you so much, for that link, will try it.

@valuser I used wp-user-frontend for 1 week, after I got link from you, and it worked perfectly, where my user was able to post, edit their post (if needed), thats what I wanted, ability for users to post and edit without sending the user to backend and with subscriber role, but soon the plugin gave error, and thr was no response in support, after that, when I researched a bit, I got some info like this plugin is going PRO. but yes, when now I look into the plugin support, i am glad to see that its working. Thank you
