Functions.php broken but bp-Custom.php works

    Is this a known issue? I added stuff to a functions file but they were not being used. I switched all the info to bp-custom and deleted functions file and now the configurations work.

    My bp-custom.php doesn’t work. I can run my functions via my functions.php file. How can I run bp-custom.php instead of functions.php?

    What versions is this occurring with? I’m assuming 1.2.5.2 with?

    On a WP 3.0 BP 1.2..5 I’m seeing no issues with functions.php, haven’t yet had a chance to take BP to 1.2.5.2 though but do rely on functions.php quite a bit and don’t think many of it’s mods will run from bp-custom.

    There could be a load-order issue. IIRC functions.php gets loaded well after bp-custom.php, so if you have functions that hook to actions early in the WP/BP loading process, they might not fire when placed into functions.php.
