getting reports that some people get sent to wordpress dashboard on login

    @modemlooper can you help me solve this? for some reason some people are getting sent to the wordpress dashboard …. i have activity stream set as the homepage on my site ..thanks ..for now i’m using a widget to remove everything from dashboard for subscribers

    *** update …. after logging out ..then back again users saying it goes to right place (in my case the activity page which is set as my home page in wordpress)

    This is probably due to cache.

    w3 total cache is not set to cache pages for logged in users so is it still a cache issue?

    I havent tested and never really got w3 to work right when using a theme switch. I’m going to be redoing the way it calls a theme and use local storage so that may fix these problems

    ok thanks i can’t do a site without w3 …if you figure out a fix i can’t figure out why it would send a subscriber to the /wp-admin in wordpress (dashboard)

    one thing wanted to add …i have no idea if its involved in anyway but i’m using the plugin branded login …. which does redirect to a login using the front end of wordpress page and not the /wp-login

    i am not sure how to totally disable w3tc from caching mobile devices …. right now it seems to be redirecting to the cached mobile version when you visit the site and your not logged in yet …… if anyone knows how to totally disable caching for mobile on w3tc please share thanks
