Hi! New user running the latest version of your plugin with a WP site I just launched and the plugin isn’t working the way that it should- how can I figure out where it’s breaking?

I can send email notifications to all group members successfully as a group admin, but none of the group members are getting email notifications when new forum activity is happening- regardless of email notification preference. This appears true for both batch subcriptions as well as instant notifications.

These are the plugins I’m running on my site hosted on Bluehost:

Hey! I am still having the same issue after updating to the latest version. Notifications of forum activity is not prompting new email notifications.

Not sure what to do.

Same here. Emails werent going out, so I applied the fix. Still nothing. No instant emails or digests. Nothing is showing up in the digest queue either.

All of the regular WP related emails are going out just fine – such as new user registrations.

i have no idea what is going on. sorry. The version works fine on my site. It is probably a conflict with one of your other plugins. If any one needs paid support let me know.

Alrighty, figured this one out for myself too, haha! If you disable Activity Streams in component setup, it will kill the emails. Necessary evil I guess.

If I may, I would suggest separating those two features. For those of us who dont want to have scattered content/user updates, it would be nice to leave the Activity Stream off and still have forum notifications go out.

@dwenaus, I also have this problem.

I like how he just leaves us in the dust with his “if anyone needs paid support let me know”

I think I might just switch over to another notification plugin.

Too bad, this was a good plugin

@dwenaus & @boonebgorges : same problem (any email are sent). A few plugins are activated on my Buddypress 1.2.8 (WP 3.1) : BP Group Documents, Custom Login, Restricted Site Access. No more email were send with just BP Group Documents activated

?sum=1 doesn’t show any summary and WP’s administration emails (password, new member) are well sent.

Please, tell me if you need more informations about my server configuration.

Activating the “Activity Stream” fixed it, thanks!
