Hi Everyone:

I posted this question on bbPress.org forums and finally realized that I should have posted the question here. Is it possible to assign Groups to Forums? For example I have two groups. Group A is Managers / Execs , and Group B is the Employees. There are two Forums I setup: Forum A is Manager / Execs forum and Forum B is Employees Forum. I want Group A (Managers/Execs) to have access to both Forum A & B. For Group B (Employees), I only want them to have access to Forum B.

Is this possible or do I have to create two subdomains and create two different buddypress installations? The only issue I have with that is, now Managers have two different logins and two different address to check everyday.

Any help would be great!

@clendanielc You only need one WP/BP installation. It’s more of allowing Groups to create Group Forums https://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/ Forum visibility will be based on your Group’s Privacy Settings

Thank you @mercime . I was a little confused on the option to let groups to create forums. Thanks for pointing me in the direction. I’ve should’ve checked there first.
