I’ve assigned each of my CLASSES of students (in a higher ed context) to different BuddyPress GROUPS. Once my users (students) log in, I’d like them to see a sidebar that is specific to their class (maybe it has their specific syllabus linked to it), but I’d like them to see it ON EVERY PAGE ON THE SITE (whether it’s a “BuddyPress Component” or not).

I’ve looked at some plugins in hope (“Dynamic Widgets,” “Content Aware Sidebars”). These are snazzy to control the specific pages on which widgets display. But I’d like to display widgets not based on page-specific content, but on group-membership.

I’ve looked just a little at editing sidebar.php or other theme files. I thought, “Surely there’s a plugin for this.” So … is there?
