Group Vs. Global Role?

    Hi there,

    When I set a student to be a Teacher, they get the Teacher Role applied to all the groups that they’re in that are using courseware, even though I only want them to be a teacher in that one group. Is there a way around this? It’s not that big a deal, I can just leave them as a student and make them a Group Admin.

    Yes, I trust this “teacher” and she is both a teacher in Courseware and an admin for the group. No problem there. The issue is that there are OTHER classes that she is a student in, but her courseware role is globally set to “teacher” – so in those other classes, she can’t mess with the class because she’s not an admin, but she also can’t TAKE the quizzes because she’s not a student as far as Courseware is concerned…
