Having a problem where a person cannot send messages to another even though he is a friend.

    Hi r-a-y!

    Love the plugin.. it stopped me from getting spammed by certain users.. the only problem is that now, I have a user who cannot send a message to another user even thought he is a friend. I told him to unfriend then re-friend but he still cannot send the message. He can send a message to me though.

    Any idea what it might be or what I can do to fix it for him?

    @hotforwords – Sorry for missing your forum thread. I should check the plugin groups more often.

    One thing to note: if the sender is trying to mass-PM a bunch of people and s/he’s not a friend of one of the recipients, the PM will automatically be blocked. This is a spam prevention measure.

    Another thing is a user has a pending friendship with the recipient, the PM will not be sent until the recipient accepts the sender as a friend.

    If your scenario doesn’t match either of these cases, let me know with specifics into the problem.
