How can I show recently blog posts on front page?

    I install BuddyPress and it is wonderful. But I want to show some recent posts on the front page, not just the admin’s post but also some users’ posts.

    I think it will make my WordPress-mu a multi-user CMS site.

    How can I do it? Is there any plugin to use to abstract information from sub blogs?

    Any free theme to study?
