[Resolved] How did my registration suddenly get a "Confirm Email field?

    A couple of our sites’ register pages just started getting a “Confirm Email (required)” field, which has promptly made the “Email Address (required)” field directly above it impossible to put any data in. Where did this field come from? It’s not on our other sites that are essentially the same platform/theme. Here’s an example of where it appears: networkforcspm.com/register and where it doesn’t: bristolrising.com/register.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You’re most likely using a plugin for this.

    Check your plugins list and see if anything is related to BP registration.  Also check to see if you added any BP snippets in your wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php file or your theme’s functions.php file.

    Thanks r-a-y, turns out it’s a setting in BP Xtra Signup. It looks like that plugin hasn’t been updated in two years and doesn’t work with newer versions of BuddyPress anymore.
