@pisanojm, my 1.0 beta has already click function, and personaly I don’t see the necessity of 1 sec delay. More time to wait until bubble appears? I can’t see useful reasons at least for now.
Must have missed the click, my users are complaining the avatar pop-up is is annoying as the mouse over the page… they actually suggested it to me and a number of the chimed in saying they would prefer it…
1.0 beta is not released yet. During this week I will definitely finish it. You will see some new features and an admin page redesign.
+1 for a one second delay.
I think the click option will solve things.
Delay would still be desirable… if possible. Thanks.
@pisanojm
I’ve implemented delay option in this plugin. You will able to make delay whatever big/small you want.’
1.0 release is going to be today or tomorrow.
@slaffik with regard to paypal…it states it is unclaimed and send on July, 2nd.
Check to see who your donate plugin link is being sent to… it may be wrong.
I am very much looking forward to the upgrade!
@slaffik Two things:
1. Did you check the paypal link on your plugin donate page here?
2. With regard to the delay, I think there is a confusion as to the NATURE of the delay. The way the delay is currently working (minus the bug where it appears instantly after it is initially triggered) is that if you hover over the icon and move the mouse anywhere else (not on the avatar icon) the information will still pop-up.
What I was hoping for (and useful) would be for the ability to NOT trigger at all unless the icon was hovered over for at least 1 or 2 seconds. Meaning… as people move their mouse around the site, and inadvertenly hover over avatars, they SHOULD not trigger the information, Unless the MOUSE remains on the avatar icon itself for “x” amount of time.
The way it is working on my site with the delay on is that if I hover over an icon and then move it… regardless of the mouse being “off” the Avatar the pop-up still “pops” in “X” seconds? Does this make sense?
@pisanojm
Ha-ha… just understood what you really wanted to see.
I’m not sure when anything else will be implemented – I will be offline for a long period of time. Will try to find the solution to make this feature and somehow to release it.
Delay is also implemented into the plugin
