How do you use CubePoints?

I use it mainly to run contests/giveaways. I set up a “lottery” account with lottery as the username.

Then I have people donate “lottery tickets” to the lottery account. Each lottery ticket is 250 points. I have them donate only 1 lottery ticket at a time. I usually set a max ticket entry from 1 – 4.

When it’s time to pick a winner I log into the lottery account. Copy and paste the log of all the donations into a online random line picker. Sooo easy. I also modified the code to show me more logs than default in case I have more than the log shows me.

I want to use it for buying small, real, funny gifts from users for users in our village.
f.e.
our farmer sells one fresh egg for 100 points
our pub sells a half beer for 122 points
20 m motorcycle with Franz for 56 points
…
Now, I am looking for a good points-shop.
I’ve tried the “CubePoints Store”, but it doesn’t run on my single bp.
Do you have an idea?

I can’t get the CubePoints Store to work yet either. But that’s still in beta.

Planning on using the points so that you get a discount on products at a certain online store with the use of discount codes.
Future project though, the store I’m discussing this first wants to make sure their income this year is enough to give many discounts.

Other than that the users with the most points will get in a top 10 list.

I noticed some of my members where betting points among them selfs. So I created a group for them to organize gambling there points. I have them create a new forum topic for each bet. Right now they are placing bets on the world cup.

I have them donate to the username gamble. They when the winner(s) have been decided. I hand out the points. It’s actually very fun
