How often to chron jobs run with your premium service?

Maybe that’s not the right way to ask, but my rss imports are frequently 6-12 hours old. And I’m using your premium chron service.
Is that a function of the rss output on the source side? Or a function of how frequently you check? And, is there a way to improve this?
