How to call for groups, members etc

Hi! I wan’t to add recent groups, members, comments etc… to my home theme so i want to know what function should i use to call those and info about it. Thanks for your replies!

There are widgets that do this for you.

If you don’t want to use widgets, I believe you can find what you’re looking for here… http://codex.buddypress.org/developer-docs/action-reference/

…but you should be using widgets as it’s much easier to make changes in the future instead of keeping track of hard coded function calls in your theme;)

Yeah, always go with a widget unless you absolutely have to roll your own solution…

Yeah thanks, i knew i could do that with widgets but it has become difficult to widgetize my sidebar. Thanks for all!
