On the add/edit screen, there’s an option to pick an image from the Media Library. Where are you getting stuck?
btw there seems a bug when you choose a huge image, it will cover everything in the event detail page. Not a big issue though~
It uses the size of the image that you upload. That’s intentional. You’ll need to upload a cropped image if you want a smaller version
The prolbem I am having is that there isn’t an option for me to upload a picture. It only says “Before you can choose a picture, you need to upload an image to the WordPress Media Library.”

Right, so go into the WordPress admin area of your site, go to “Media” in the side menu, and “Add New”.
