How To Edit Original Theme Once BP Templates Are Imported? & Fatal Error Problem

  • Hello everyone. I recently used the BP Template Pack plugin to import the appropriate templates into my active theme so I can use it but when I went in to edit the theme index.php file I noticed that everything was replaced by the BP templates and I could not find the original theme elements. Does anyone know where they went?

I’m currently on WordPress 2.9.2 (non MU) and plan on upgrading to 3.0 once the majority of my plugins are updated to support it. Once more thing, I’m still in step three of the BP Template Pack and I get the following error at the bottom of the page (Appearance > BP Compatibility):

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_core_is_multisite() in /*/*/*/wp-content/plugins/bp-template-pack/bp-template-pack.php on line 188

Replaced directories with stars on purpose. Can anyone help? Thanks in advanced!

  • What version of BuddyPRess are you using?

    Version 1.2.4.1.

Does importing templates through BP Template pack require the actual buddypress plugin to be enabled? I was avoiding enabling it until everything was set since I have a high traffic blog and don’t want anything to show up before testing.
