How to message users… help?

    Hi there, this i’m hoping is a very silly question to ask, but for the life of me, I cannot see a way for an ADMIN to send a notification “message” to a member through the backend admin area of wordpress.

    I actually want the setting of allow members to message each other to be disabled, but even so, surely there must be a way for admins to communicate with users.

    As an admin you can contact all uses using a sitewide notice. This depends on the messaging component being activated. If you want to contact members individually or if you want to disable private messaging then the only option I can see is to email them directly.
