BuddyPress.org

I am new to BuddyPress and I’m struggling with the proper way to set it up on multi user. My multi user setup is working fine with blogs on subdomains.

I assume that I only want to install the main BuddyPress theme on my main site. Do I then use child themes on all the network blogs? Or can I use a child theme for the whole network including the main blog to keep the design consistent? I want each of the network blogs that are created to have all of the BuddyPress features, but not to be their own BuddyPress install.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
