HyperDB and BP

    Anyone have experience using BP with HyperDB?
    We are not using multi-site.
    But we are having scaling problems and will need to move to a master/slave(s) for the database.

    I’ve not tried sharding the BuddyPress database tables; I have no idea if it would work.

    Thanks Paul.
    We’re going to experiment with it in the near future and I’ll share the results with the BP dev team.
    ( Are we really the first to try it !?! )
