Integrating blogs from outside ?

    hi,

    I would like to have a feature that allows my members to integrate their existing blogs in Buddypress. I guess this could be done 2 ways :

    - give the user subdomain/subdir and show the RSS from the blog URL he/she points

    - import somehow all the data from his blog ( after moderation )

    Also can I add RSS stream of blogs that I like ( their authors are not members of my BP ) ?

    And of course I want it on the front page as a widget :)

    Importing blogs (your second bullet point) is part of WPMU and nothing to do with Buddypress. You can do this by visiting /wp-admin/import.php on your site as an admin user.

    The first bullet point is something that at least person is working on, but I don’t expect to see anything released for a long time yet.

    I will eat my hat if their isn’t an existing RSS widget for WordPress. Have a look through http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/.
