Integrating WPMU Q&A with Buddypress Moderation

The buddypress moderation plugin seems to only work for posts and activity. Since Questions and Answers for WPMU’s Q&A plugin are a custom post type, is there a way to add custom post support to the Buddpress Moderation plugin? Or would this require a lot of development?
