BuddyPress.org

I’m a newbie with a new blog running WordPress 3.2.1, my current theme is Intrepidity 1.5.1 by Top Blog Formula. I installed and activated Buddy Press, it said, “Buddy press was successfully installed! Please run the installation wizard.” I have NOT yet run the installation wizard because after installing & activating Buddy Press, I immediately installed Buddy Press Template Pack 1.2 so that my Intrepidity theme will accept Buddy Press.

The problem is when I go to APPEARANCE and click on the drop down menu, there is no BP Compatibility Tab to click on. The Buddy Press Template Pack instructions says, Head to the “Appearance > BP Compatibility” menu and follow the step-by step instructions………”
There are no instructions, because there is no menu……..

I am scared to run the installation wizard because the last time I installed Buddy Press and a Buddy Press Classified Ads Plug-In, my site crashed! I’m not really “technically advanced” when it comes to these things

I’m running AWPCP (Another Word Press Classified Ads Plug In) and I REALLY want to get BUDDY PRESS on my site to run with it. PLEASE HELP…..
