BuddyPress.org

I have been trying to find out why my subiste buddypress install keeps using the mainsite non buddypress compatible theme for “groups”, “register”, “forums”, “activate” instead of the buddypress theme on the subsite.
I used define(‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, 3 ); in wp-config and the subsite behaves normally except for these pages. This is a subdirectory install rather than a subdomain.. might this be part of the problem? Am I wasting my time trying to make this work or is there a simple solution I am missing somewhere?
