A month of searching for a solution has led me to this forum. Maybe this is it?
I have used WordPress and BuddyPress installs on my hosting account. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to host a “Photography Club” website.
Membership will be authorized, but each member needs to have their own gallery / album.
I need a template that will allow the display of EXIF data for all photos, since we review this info during group meetings.
We regularly have assignments, contests that require specific subjects, so I need a way for users to “TAG” their photos so that we can filter by tag name.
If BP Media fits the bill please let me know. If anyone has any suggestions I am ready willing and able to try them out. I would prefer to stick with the self hosted option vs. having to do this on Flickr or some other large photo hosting site.
