Issue with Language File

    Hello Paul!

You have a reoccurring issue with the language file. After attempting to change the labels from “achievements” to “badges” throughout the file, I was able to repeat this issue in Poedit:

    `00:11:16: /Users/kyle/Sites/learn.thecorkboard.org/wp-content/languages/achievements.po:498: missing `msgstr[]‘ section
    00:11:16: /Applications/Poedit.app/Contents/MacOS/msgfmt: found 1 fatal error`

You need to add this after line 499 (but you probably knew this…):

    msgstr[0] “”
    msgstr[1] “”

    Cheers!

  • er, oops. I’ll update the version on WordPress.org this evening with a newly-generated POT (I won’t bump the version number). Thanks.

Yea, well that was part of it. But in messing around with it more it still is throwing errors in Poedit. It needs something in the header to make it happy. Once I threw this in it was ok but now some edits I make aren’t being shown, as in changing “favourite” to “favorite” you know, the PROPER, spelling ;) at least for us yanks:

    “Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plural=(n > 1);n”

Yes, I think you have to add the plural lines in for certain locales. Not sure it needs to go in the main POT but again not sure :)

Thanks for your help. Any idea on how to change the meta title for the directory. It just says Directory and I would like it to be “Badges Directory”. Doesn’t seem like an edit in the POT file. Maybe a conditional if statement in the header.php will do it?
