Issues I am having with buddypress 1.7

Everything looks cool:
My install:
wp 3.5
buddypress 1.7
Bp media plugin
I tested wp themes fine but no video icons showing play,click large at bottom of the video bar only white square dots, on default buddypress theme and all other buddypress themes they are all perfect.
Other issue is no notifications on top bar.
