Language doesn\’t update, caching?

    Hi,

    I got WU and BP running in Dutch and wanted to adjust some words in my Dutch language files.

    Somehow the adjustments doesn’t show on my BP installation after uploading the new adjusted files.

    Is this caused by caching? Or am I missing something?

    If I delete the language files it got resetted to English straight away, so why doens’t my files get updated….

    EDIT# I editted them in Wordpad, maybe that isn’t the right way :)

    Did you use PoEdit next?

    I also have similar issue. In my case, some Site Wide Activities phrases are still in English, even If i’ve updated the translated version.

    I use PoEdit for translations, I’ve translated WP/bbPress/WPMU and never faced such issue. How could be this problem resolved?

    some Site Wide Activities phrases are still in English

    Are you starting with a fresh install and empty database? If not, previous site-wide activity that is cached in the database will not be translated.

    It is a fresh install and empty database. I got it fixed by using POedit. Thanks!
