Large amount of outgoing bandwidth being used after upgrade to 1.9.1

    Hey everyone,

I noticed a huge difference on outgoing bandwidth after upgrading BuddyPress to the latest version. Currently running 1.8.1 without issues, and when I try upgrading to 1.9.1 the Network graph for outgoing bandwidth goes from under 6Mbps to a peak of over 40Mpbs. This is guaranteed to happen after I upgrade BuddyPress, and I also notice the entire site slower. I actually tried this a few times, all other plugins are up-to-date. WordPress version is: 3.8

Take a look at the eth0 graph when I last updated, and reverted it today:

What would be the best approach here on finding out what exactly is consuming this much bandwidth after the upgrade? Is this the intended outcome for the latest version? Or is there something really wrong here? Anyone experiencing the same?

    Thanks,
    Renan
