go to this folder: yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-mobile/themes/default/home.php
to my knowledge there is no default homepage, you might want to copy the activity/index.php file to home.php to at least have something
this is the template that rules the index page, modify it in any way you like
regards,
Aron
Thanks for the quick reply.

Really? I thought that’s what /buddypress-mobile/themes/default/index.php was for?
Perhaps @modemlooper can enlighten us…
You create the front of your mobile site by creating a page in the admin titled “bp-mobile” add whatever you want to the post editor box
OK – does that include php stuff? All I really want is a basic home page similar to what’s in index.php
Do you know how to use WordPress? If you do not, visit WordPress.org and learn how to create pages. It’s as simple as that to create the home page.
Yes, I do know how to create pages in WordPress – what I don’t know is how to make a page that behaves like the home page on the previous version of Buddypress Mobile did.
With the previous version we had the usual WordPress theme structure and the front page displayed a list of the most recent posts.
I don’t know how to replicate that with this new approach because you can’t just take the code from index.php and dump it into the post editor box because the code won’t execute (hence my last question).
My assumption therefore is that we can no longer have a front page with a list of articles on it – is that correct?
That’s done it! Thanks very much and thanks again for this great plugin.
hi, do you have the previous version of bp-mobile available? i upgraded to the latest version however, have to roll back due to compatibility issues between BP and a critical plugin i use… and now can’t locate the bp-mobile version that works w/ this older copy of BP.
thanks for any help.
On WordPress.org on right sidebar on the plugin page you can find a download other versions link
