Like & Favorite button to Custom Post Types

Hello,

I would like to be able to add the like button ( I have the: BuddyPress Like – plugin installed ) to be added to custom post types.

I have also noticed that when a member makes a new custom post type publish, it do not display in the member activity feed same as normal posts do.

Any help is appreciated…
