Limiting My Blog Content

    Hi, I’m have WordPress 3.5.1 and using Buddypress Default Theme 1.6.4. Some of my blog content can run lengthy. I’m trying to find a way to limit the amount of characters for my blogs and allow a visitor to click a “read more” link but can’t seem to find how to do it with my theme. I noticed some themes have them. How can I do this without switching themes?

    This is a WP factor not a Buddypress one. Look into the use of the ‘more tag’ used to split posts where you wish within the post body. The WP codex is your friend for questions like this.
