This is very common for example when you are registrating your blog in blog directories or your company in site directories. I think it would be a very good idea to have this option at Buddy Press.
We would like everyone to be able to become a member at our social community for free, but that the members who like to add a link to their website has to add our link to their site first.
How can this be done? Is there any WordPress plugin for this?

We also would like to have a Business Directory (for companies related to our subject) working the same way.

Then you have to create the blog yourself and only add the new user and remove yourself as admin after you’ve seen that a link to your site has been added to their site.

Or, you’ve have to create a script/plugin (or hire a developer to do so) that “phones home” to your site to confirm that the member has added a link to your site and that will trigger allowing the member to create a new blog in your site.

O.k, thankyou Mercime! I guess I’ll have to wait for a new plugin… In the first part of your answer you write that I then have to remove myself as admin, why is that?
