Localisation only partially working

    @digitaldotfactory

    Hi,

    I’m using localisation to customise aspects of BuddyPress language to fit a specific requirement. Effectively Groups become Places and the various message strings have been changed as appropriate. I’ve called it buddypress-en_GB for the sake of argument and switched WPLANG to en_GB.

    The problem I have is that the localisation is only working in a few places:

    Admin > Settings > BuddyPress: Groups have been renamed Places

    Frontend > Groups Directory page: Search box and paging now refers to Places however the title Groups Directory has not updated neither have the fields and screens associated with creating or managing a new Group.

    Any ideas? my site is currently accessible here: LettingsList.

    Thanks,

    James

    Hi,

    “groups directory” is in the original buddypress.pot, so if you use a custom buddypress-en_GB.po, this string should be in this file too.

    same thing for all other instances wwho are ALL in the default pot delivered with BP.

    The buddypress-en_GB.mo must be in wp-content/languages
