Make Buddypress active from a WordPress install on the same database

First of all, thanks for this powerful tool and this support community, I just discovered Buddypress.
Here is my situation : my current WordPress blog has template A , and in the same database I’d like to install a second wordpress with Buddypress (with template B) The two wordpress sites would share the same users.
Is there a way to make Buddypress active with template B on the first site (template A) considering there are both in the same database ? I mean everytime a user checks his profil, activity, etc…. he’s redirected to the buddypress (template B)
I have been searching for a way around this on the web, but didn’t find a solution yet.
    Thank you 🙂
