Manual enable of users and edit signup complete page.

First thing i want to do is manually verify/enableusers, i don’t want to send them the verification email. I just want to be able to login to the admin panel and enable users.

A way around this could be if i were to recieve the verification email rather than the user- but i would need to see their email address somewhere within that email.

Also after i have verified them, they should recieve the welcome email as normal.

I also want to be able to edit the text:

“Sign Up Complete!

You have successfully created your account! To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.”

Please let me know if this is possible

For the first part, what version of WordPress are you using?

Secondly, you can edit the sign up text by using a language file:

Or by creating a child theme and modifying the registration templates.

hi im using WordPress MU 2.9.2 ,with buddypress, i believe i have to edit something in bp-core-signup.php
