Great work so far! It is what buddypress needed.

I have a few feature requests.

- Can we have the option to rename Member Groups to Sub Groups? or to something that may not be confusing.

- when i go to domain.com/groups/ it displays all the groups in a flat alphabetical order. Can we have the option to display by hierachy?

Renaming the group tab, along with some other admin options, is on the TODO list once most of the bugs have been ironed out.

I’ve still got to work on how to display the groups in a hierarchy (especially with regard to paging), both for the frontend and the admin section. It will happen, but it may be a while.

not sure if it’s our place to make suggestions, since it’s not like we employ you but i’ll do it anyway and hope in the name of good karma and pay it forward you will consider it.

the way i see the situation in most community, there will always be a small set of “mother groups”; 3-10 is my guess. If you have more you lose member’s in the complexity. this is why pagination in my mind won’t be an issue. what would be great to have was a way to see dependencies easily. wp-dtree – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-dtree-30/ does this very beautifully.

I’ve just posted what I hope will be the last core functionality / bug fixing release, and hope to be able to put together some kind of interface within the next few weeks.

Displaying groups by hierarchy within the domain.com/groups page would be fantastic! Thanks for all the great work so far.

I second this , Hierarchy should be there also visually , possibility of renaming tabs would be nice too and if there should be also possible to divide Groups into categories (select=dropdown custom field) set up in 1st step when creating the groups with their own tab instead 1 general “all groups tab” , I would be very happy,
