Hi guys, I am looking for some guidance on this one.

I am building a music based social network and as part of the services supplied on the site I want to allow members to rate one another on key attributes like skills, experience, helpfulness etc.
There are a few ratings plugins that I have been trialling that work very well, however they allow the user to rate posts, pages and comments but not groups or users.

I am guessing that this is by design, however I want to be able to let the users make informed decisions about who to work with and which groups they find useful.

There does not seem to be a plugin that I can use out of the box so I was thinking about looking under the hood at some of the current plugins to see if they can be adapted.

Is this

A) a dumb idea as it’s seriously non- trivial
not to dumb an idea but will take some work
C) it already exists, my search powers are deeply woefull
D) not possible,you need a custom plugin to achieve it
E) sign of a serious lack of socialisation

If you could point me in the right direction I would be really grateful.
