Yes, 1.1.6 – works. But allows shares articles only for the basic domain.
How shares articles on other domains?
It’s a BuddyPress plugin and wasn’t ever designed to work on sub domains. Try adding code below to sub domain template file single.php. It should be placed above the comments code.

On a side note, support for this plugin is probably going to be dropped. I may do a BuddyPress add-on for Jetpack and hook into the sharing of that plugin.
