Mobile Theme Toggle

Before using buddypress, I used a mobile plugin called WPTouch then when I started using buddypress I used this plugin and absolutely loved it.
The one thing which was missing from this plugin which was on WPTouch was the theme toggle at the bottom of the page.
After a lot of work (I don’t know php at all) I managed to port the toggle across from WPTouch to Buddypress Mobile
If anyone is interested in the code for it then just comment

Quick glance, haven’t had a chance to go through it. I’m debating if this will be a plugin in the future or just a theme. Can’t get the theme to work as a child theme if the files are not in wp-content/themes. Making it a child theme helps with updates and plugins.

How could you make it into just a theme? You’d have to make this theme as default then in the functions.php you would have to have a script to detect if it isn’t mobile then load a different theme. Is that what your planning ?

Using a mobile detect plugin. child theme doesn’t work unless theme files are in WP-content/themes. The current plugin is a full theme. I want to use a child based on BP-default so upgrades are easier and plugins work better
