I have started work on a plugin that will integrate most major social networks, it is allot of work, especially when I can only do it in my free time.
I wont be updating this plugin further and the new one will incorporate all the current functionality and more.
The new plugin will not be compatible with the old one/s as I have reworked everything from naming functions appropriately to storing relative values in a array specific to the social medium.
My eta is 2 weeks though will only be able to give a realistic date closer to completion.
If you have any requests or ideas, please let me know. I might also incoperate BuddyPress Share It into the plugin as BuddyPress Share It is no longer supported.
Maybe a privacy option where the admin of a group can make the certain social links only visible to members or to the public.

Don’t think your in the right thread – Sync’ing activity was never on the agenda as BuddyStream already does this..

Great idea! I would love users to be able to add Twitter and Facebook buttons to their profiles! How long off are we on this? If it works well, I’ll gladly donate!
