Multiple avatars of the same member showing in widget

Hi, I’m running wordpress 3.01 and buddypress 1.2.5.2 I’m having an issue that when a registerd member clicks on their profile page then the featured members widget will show four avatars of that registered user instead of all the other users? Any suggestions what the issue might be?

same issue, only for me in wp 3.1.1 bp 1.2.8 widget shows two avatars of one member when he/she clicks on their profile page.

any help?

hi @jeffsayre,
same issue with me. I have a user who used “-” sign in username. This user is the only one who is not appearing in widget, so I have started experimenting by putting in widget username and nick. Nothing helped, but when I was on this user’s page, I could see that his avatar was used twice in the widget.

So my question is: Is there a way to make widget show users with dash in the username?

@sladkoe6ka the widget has not been updated for current BP 1.2.8 and WP 3.1.1. An alternative way to show featured members is shown here.

Thanks @mercime. I have installed PHP widget plugin and put you code in. Works like a charm. I have only changed avatar size to thump instead of full
