Multiple groups within a group

I like the fact that you can create a hierarchy which partly works for what I want to do, but what I would really like is the ability for a group to join more than one group.
Are there any plans for this development.
Before I leave, thank you very much for a well made and up to date plugin, you should be very proud of your accomplishent.
