my signup link doesnt work…

If I visit my main page, and then click on the link to signup it redirects me to an index of /register/ (www.mydomain.com/register/)…
Why is this? Im using the latest versions of WP and BP and have also integrated S2Member in order to take payments.
What I really want to do is when someone visits my homepage and clicks on the link to signup they are redirected to my webpage(BP Page) that ha my membership options and the link to purchase a membership. Right now when i click on signup Im redirected to the Index of /register. Its driving me crazy because I cant figure it out.
So simply, how can I make that link redirect to my membership options page?
