There’s really no need to pay some one, if you’d like I can guide/help you through the process.
If you are talking about theme intergration or customization it would be a different story. Could you explain in detail what you would like to achieve?
I would like buddypress to work on this website. http://urantianow.com/.
I tried to install it on another website and got stuck at the end while changing the code. I would greatly appreciate any help or resources for getting it to work. I guess I will get started installing it and when I get stuck maybe you could offer some helpful advice.
Thank you so much…
So everything went pretty well it seems except I can’t get the “Activate” & “Register” pages to show up.
Any ideas. I’ve tried just about everything I can think of. When I click view in the pages options I just get my homepage. It also wont let me make it a child of the page “Buddypress”
Thank you
Could really use some advice if you have a minute. Still can’t get these functions to work. THank you
The registration and activation pages on that site is working for me…
http://urantianow.com/forum/ – page titled ‘buddypress’
http://urantianow.com/forum/register/ – registration page as a child of ‘buddypress’ page
http://urantianow.com/forum/activate/ – etc.
You will always be redirected back home if you try and view the page while logged-in, you will need to log out to view.
Chirs,
Thank you so easy. I thought that could be the issue but assumed I would still see the links in the drop menu. Also I logged out and still can not see the registration. Do you see the “Register” under the buddypress menu link?
Thank you for your time.
@tscandy64 You will need to turn on registration in the wordpress backend. Login and go to http://urantianow.com/wp-admin/options-general.php and check the box that says ‘Anyone can register’.
Wordpress automatically hides registration links when it’s not turned on
