[NEW PLUGIN] BuddyPress Quickpress (alpha)

This plugin allows the users to write simple posts outside the dashboard (just like QuickPress from the Dashboard).

It adds a “Quickpress” submenu under /blog from which you can easily add a post to any of your blogs.

DEVELOPPERS : I have some issues when posting elsewhere that the main blog.

Please help if you can… See “known bugs” in the plugin page :

the auto-install of this plugin is not working, Benoit will have to work this out… files structure is wrong.

Has anyone successfully used this plugin?

As described, it is exactly the functionality I need. Its beyond my current technical ability to fix, but I’d be happy to engage the right developer to get this working for me.

I tried the plugin but it doesn’t include the ability to embed media. It should work fine if you just need to post but if you need to attach and upload files, I don’t think this one will work.

This is a fantastic plugin – could be the making of buddypress if finished. The fact that its aimed at users who are not tech savvy and doesnt move ‘the header’ is on to a winner.
