New Sites Getting WordPress Default Theme, Not Buddypress Default

    Hi all –

After upgrading a 2.something WPMU site with BP 1.1 to WP 3.0 multisite and BP 1.2.5 and changing to the new bp-default theme, everything went great. Except …

Despite only having the bp-default theme set as a network theme (no other themes exist), newly created sites are getting pegged with a “WordPress Default” theme. And since that doesn’t exist, it’s a whitescreen of death if the user doesn’t go in and activate the BP theme. I see the WordPress Default as the option in the DB for newly created sites.

What’s going on here? How can this be fixed?
