New users unable to log in

Hi, I installed this plug-in and it appears to work correctly. I tested it as a new user and the process went smoothly. I was even able to upload an avatar to the new users account. However it did not automatically log me in and I am unable to log in as the new user. I’ve checked the user section in the admin panel and the new user is there (with avatar). I tried updating passwords and that didn’t work either… I’m completely baffled. Do you have any ideas as to why the system wouldn’t let new users in when using your plug-in?
