    Hi All…
I’ve been at this for some time now and so close, but have a bunch of items that I need to still configure to get this to an OK site. I think mostly because we chose a non-BP compatible theme (yet using the the plugin to allow it to work). With relation to the nav bar…can someone please help me out in how I can add the BP Nav Bar to my site.

Any help would be great. If you know how to fix up other areas of BP in a non BP theme, that would be great…send me a message!

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner… been busy building a new theme for BP.
Here’s a link to the Buddypress Template Pack that should give you all the info you need to get the job done.

Could you post a link to your site? I could take a look and see if I can figure out your problem with the navbar.

I presume you’re asking about the “standard” Buddypress adminbar. Make sure your custom theme has the call to wp_footer in its footer template See here for more:

i think im having the same problem as the OP, im using the facelook theme and the admin bar doesn’t show up at all, much less when i have this plugin activated. my site is http://www.TheSoldiersNetwork.com , ive been toying around with different stylesheets and stuff and have come close but haven’t been able to get the perfect gray admin bar like on this site at the top of that site. it only shows up when im signed in as my administrator role while in the dashboard, what can i do? thank you very very much

First make sure that “Hide admin bar for logged out users?” is set to “No” under “Buddypress” > “General Settings” in your dashboard.

If you still can’t see the adminbar in your theme, make sure the call to wp_footer is present in your theme’s footer.php. If it’s not there, simply add it before the closing html tag:

When both conditions are met, the adminbar should display :-)
