Nice work, but not quite what I was hoping for

I love the idea of this and was hoping it would be useful for my site — richer information attached to groups would be a great thing. But because groups are (or can be, in the case of my site) created by users, this puts far too much onus on the users, I think, during the process of group creation, and would confuse all but the most tech savvy.

What I’d love to see would be a way to create a default set of additional fields — created by the superadmin in the backend — that would be shown during group creation for all new groups (or all groups selected in the admin screen). This would standardize the data attached to groups and also make the process a lot easier and less confusing for users — all they have to do is fill in the forms.

Nice plugin, though — I look forward to seeing where you go with it.

I see that’s being discussed here, so: fingers crossed.

Yes, hope to release it this week.
I’m very excited by the possibilities of this plugin, so I will try to do my best to implement everything needed as soon as possible. But please, be patient – I’m the only developer and maintain this plugin in free time :)

I hear you, and thanks for your work so far!

I had something a bit odd happen as I was testing it on my localhost with Activity stream filters, but it might have been something unrelated. Just a heads up, just in case.

That’s absolutely not my plugin caused your problems in Activity stream. I’m not touching activity at all. So look through others plugin.

Yeah, I didn’t think so. Not sure what happened — probably one of my own custom plugins — but it’s all good now.
